Admissions Overview

The School is now closed for the summer holidays.  Registrations will not be processed until we return in late August. If you are sending in a registration form and intending to pay the registration fee by BACS, please wait to do this until Thursday 30th August. This will ensure that we can match up the registration fee to the registration form quickly.

Please note the changes to our Admissions Policy for pupils registering for September 2023 onward (so babies born from 1st September 2018). For these children, registration will no longer open at birth, but rather on 1st September three years before entry, when children are aged between one and two years old.  An explanation of this procedure is available on the Admissions tab of this website.  Please contact the Registrar after 30th August for further details.

The majority of pupils join Thomas’s Clapham in Reception following their 4th birthday. We have four forms in our Reception year, with up to 22 children in each class.

Entry to other year groups at Thomas’s Clapham is dependent on places becoming available during the course of the academic year. You would need to register your child for our Occasional Vacancies List. Classes normally comprise 22 pupils.

Our aim is to admit to the School a balance of boys and girls regardless of race, religious views or physical ability.
