Community

Providing children with a view of the world beyond our school grounds is essential in becoming a global citizen. We want our children to live their lives through our core values, the same British values which really matter in the wider community.  To this end we work with community members to integrate and develop partnerships with local schools, care homes, community groups, and our local church, St Luke’s.

Through promoting our school values and living as a community, we seek opportunities to contribute to life beyond our school and to build relationships at a personal and community level. Our annual Community Day is a highlight of the year where we reach out and connect with community groups and Thomas’s Foundation partners.

The CAIRN Trust gives a focus to our commitment to the wider community through helping children in Nepal have access to education by providing schools, teacher training and libraries.
