Trips and Visits

To enhance the pupils' learning experiences and embrace their curiosity about the world, teachers have freedom to arrange visits to complement work in school. Local trips occur several times each year for every child, extending further afield and culminating in a week in France in Year 6. We embrace residential trips: Year 4 visit the Isle of Wight for an activity camp and Year 5 travel to Dorset for a week of Science and Geography activities. Residential curriculum trips are generally part of the fee structure except for the Year 4 residential. Pupils thrive on the shared experiences of trips, near or far, and we achieve a balance to support all aspects of the curriculum. Visits are an important part of our work in the local community and we relish the opportunity to host a range of visitors in school.
